Geodes are formed from fluids which crystallize in cavities within the rounded rock or nodule. They are found in many parts of the world, but these particular geodes came from Morocco. Most of these geodes have hollow centers with crystals. Take a chance and you might get lucky!!
How to break open your geode: Put the geode in a bag or sock. Hit it firmly with a hammer, aiming for the center. Safety goggles and gloves are recommended.
Recommended for Ages 8+. Adult supervision required.
*** Some Break-Your-Own Geodes will not have crystals on the inside. ***
