The bulldog, also known as the English or British bulldog, is a stout, muscular, medium-sized member of the canine family. It is a brachycephalic breed with a distinctive pushed-in nose and deeply wrinkled face. Bulldogs are the fourth most popular purebred in the United States, and due to their friendly demeanour and loyalty tend to make excellent family pets.
